- Goal: improve performance of a cluster of servers.
How do we measure performance ?
- Minimize the average slowdown for tasks.
Baseline: Optimal time to completion - task is running
uninterrupted on the best server (for its needs).
For the same execution (scenario): the lower the average
slow down, the better the policy.
