E sono stato a Venezia...

This page is nothing more than a collection of photos coming from my recent trip to Venice (12-15 Feb. 1999) meant to give just an idea of what's going on in Venice during the world famous Carnival.
I took a lot of pictures during these 4 days, but although I think they make a great story, worth to be told, they are not the photos of a professionist. It is of course just now, looking at my album that I realise how astray one building looks in my photo, or how nice that telegraph pole is just between my camera and a beautiful church, or a lot of other "minor" details that were overlooked while taking the picture.
But you, my friends, I hope will not be too critical (although critics are welcome) and will enjoy this virtual trip to Venice.

For those who find this page by accident, but not only for them, you may take a look at the story behind this trip. It is merely a remembering of all the feelings and impressions I gathered during these 4 days and it might give a better understanding to some of the pictures. So, prepare for a long read, and... enjoy!
